Nintendo’s E3 2014 Nintendo Direct Results:
Super Smash Bros. Wii U (new gameplay with Miis and Nintendo’s NFC action figures) coming holiday 2014 (Palutena also announced to be in the game)
Super Smash Bros. 3DS (new footage) coming Oct. 3, 2014
Amiibo is the name of the new Nintendo figurines, can be used in Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8 and more. These are figures that put a character into the game and can be played as or against, leveled up, customized, etc. Several characters were shown include Samus, Yoshi, Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, the trainer from Wii Fit and more. These will be releasing in the first series alongside Smash Bros. this holiday.
Yoshi’s Wooly World (new game in the style of Kirby Epic Yarn)
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker (new game for Toad, based on his puzzle levels in Super Mario 3D World)
Legend of Zelda Wii U (new early footage, will have open world) coming 2015
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire coming to 3DS Nov. 21, 2014
Bayonetta 2 (Exclusive) (new footage, game will include original Bayonetta)
Hyrule Warriors (new game set in the Zelda universe with a mix of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors) coming Sept. 26, 2014
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (new game, sequel to Canvas Curse) coming to Wii U in 2015
Xenoblade Chronicles X coming in 2015
Mario Maker (new game, footage shown – similar to Mario Paint. Players can create their own Mario 2D levels using retro style Mario or New Super Mario Bros U style).
Splatoon (new game announced, 8 player multiplayer action game – this is a shooter using colored ink and it features humans who can turn into squid)
