First trailer, new details revealed for Telltale’s Batman series
The first episode debuts August 2; watch the brand new footage of the game here
Telltale’s Batman series will begin on August 2 (digitally) and the company has released a brand new trailer today, revealing some of what you’ll see in episode one.
The physical release will launch September 13 and will include episode one on disc as well as the season pass for the rest of the series. The game will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, iOS, Android and Mac (OS X).
According to a PlayStation Blog post by Laura Perusco, Senior Creative Communications Manager for Telltale Games, the game will feature Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.
Perusco explained that Telltale’s vision of Batman is unique in that its series is just as much about Bruce Wayne as it is about the masked crimefighter.
“You’ll enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight,” she wrote on the blog post. “It’s a gritty and violent new story in which you’ll make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne’s world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City.”
