How to get 10 free Nintendo Switch games over the next 14 days

Qubic Games is giving away a portion of its library between now and Christmas Eve

Qubic Games has announced it’ll be giving away 10 games over the course of a couple of weeks on Nintendo Switch to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

A trailer released by the company details exactly what Nintendo Switch owners need to do in order to add the titles to their libraries.

The only real requirements are that you own one of the company’s games by December 15 and that you visit the Nintendo eShop each day to download that day’s free game.

The freebies work as a chain reaction, so if you miss any of them, the rest will not become free. However, you can always purchase the missed game as long as you do it the very next day so you don’t miss another. In that case, you’d have to buy two games to unlock the next.

We’ve outlined a more detailed step-by-step guide for you, per Qubic’s video (or you can just watch the video below) to help save some time. But first, take a look at the list of games:

  1. Robonauts (December 10-15) (Originally $3.99)

  2. Geki Yaba Runner: Anniversary Edition (December 16) ($2.99)

  3. Puzzle Book (December 17) ($3.99)

  4. One Strike (December 18) ($4.99)

  5. Wreckin’ Ball Adventure (December 19) ($4.99)

  6. Koloro (December 20) ($9.99)

  7. #RaceDieRun (December 21) ($9.99)

  8. Rekt (December 22) ($5.99)

  9. Mana Spark (December 23) ($9.99)

  10. Secret game to be revealed later (December 24)

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Download any of the Qubic Games titles (including the free Coloring Book app) by December 15.

  2. Download Robonauts for free (this is the first of the 10 freebies) between December 10 (that’s today) and December 15.

  3. On December 16-24, visit the eShop each day to download the free game of the day. Each download will unlock the next day’s game for free, so you can’t miss any of them.

  4. If you should miss a free game, you can purchase it the next day to continue the chain reaction of free games.

That’s it. It’s a value of at least $57 if you had purchased all these games at their original prices, minus the TBA final game.

Qubic Games also says that if you should miss any of the games, it’ll be offering most of them for purchase at a “big discount” that will vary per title.

And speaking of discounts, the eShop has several Qubic Games titles on sale currently as well, including Akane for $0.99, Brawl for $0.99 and Warlocks 2: God Slayers for $1.79 among others.

You can visit the company’s official site for more details.
