THQ Nordic announces plan to bring back Nickelodeon games

From Rugrats to Rocko to modern classics like Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron, THQ Nordic is bringing lots of Nicktoons back

has announced it will bring back several Nicktoons to the gaming world.

Nordic Games purchased a large portion of THQ properties when the company went under a few years ago and eventually purchased the THQ name, becoming THQ Nordic.

In a press release, THQ Nordic says it will reveal more about the availability of these games soon.

It is unclear how and when these will be released or on which platforms they will be available. They will not be new games, but, we don’t know yet which titles for the properties announced will be made available.

THQ Nordic says the “games” (though these aren’t games, just property names) that will be made available include:

  1. Avatar: The Last Airbender

  2. Back At The Barnyard

  3. Catscratch

  4. Danny Phantom

  5. El Tigre

  6. Invader Zim

  7. Jimmy Neutron

  8. My Life As A Teenage Robot

  9. Rocket Power

  10. Rocko’s Modern Life

  11. Rugrats

  12. SpongeBob SquarePants

  13. Tak And The Power Of JUJU

  14. The Fairly OddParents (US only)

  15. The Ren & Stimpy Show

  16. The Wild Thornberrys

“The appetite for Nickelodeon content old and new continues to grow and it’s exciting to bring our beloved content to new audiences through this partnership with THQ Nordic,” said Jon Roman, senior VP of Toys for Nickelodeon in the release. “These titles were popular when they were first released and we can’t wait for fans around the world to rediscover their favorites.”
