Sony unveiled the first footage of its upcoming entry in the long-running first-party series and revealed the release date for the game
Update: Sony has revealed a limited edition of Gran Turismo Sport that retails for $69.99 and includes eight cars, $1 million in-game credits, a livery sticker pack, 30 themed avatars, a racing helmet for your driver profile, and a steelbook case. Several retailer-specific pre-order bonuses have been added below as well.

During a livestream event today, Sony showed off the first footage of Gran Turismo Sport, an upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive racing sim, which releases for the PS4 on November 15 in the US, Japan and Asian countries and on November 18 in the UK.
The game will feature 137 “super-premium” real and fantasy vehicles, 19 tracks (with 27 layouts), a livery editor, a photo mode called Scapes, a Twitter-like timeline feed for in-game events, a campaign mode, multiplayer and more.
Retailer-specific pre-order bonuses include:
$500,000 in-game credits from Amazon
Early Access bonus cars: Chevrolet Corvette Group 3 and Nissan NISMO GT-R GT3 N24 from GameStop
GT PS4 avatars, GT Sport Dynamic Theme and $500,000 in-game credits from the PlayStation Store
A three-car pack, including a Ford Mustang Group B Rally Car, a Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Group 3 and a Peugeot 908 HDi FAP LMP1 is available to everyone who pre-orders the game
Sport was announced back in October and will support VR on launch, as announced at was supposed to feature VR support. That may still be the case, but there is no mention of VR in the trailer nor was there during the livestream event today at East London’s Copper Box Arena, near the Olympic Park in the UK.
A beta for Gran Turismo Sport was planned for early 2016, but it appears plans for that have either been nixed or pushed back has been canceled, according to Sony. Polyphony Digital and Sony are also working on Gran Turismo 7.
