It’s almost time for Microsoft’s new dashboard update for the Xbox One to release to the masses. Along with much-needed updates and tweaks to its clunky menu system and overly-complicated user interface, Microsoft is unleashing the ability to play Xbox 360 games to those who want to enjoy their old games on the new system.
To get everyone ready for the big update, Microsoft has released several new videos that walk through all the details of the new user experience, including how the highly-anticipated backwards compatibility will work.
Microsoft has promised 100+ compatible games at launch of the service. The launch games will be announced on Monday, November 9. The company has also made it clear that going forward, Xbox Live Games with Gold for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One via the backwards compatibility system.
